Join the Derby Public Library for a day long celebration of Harcourt Wood Birthday celebration, Summer Reading Kick Off for Children's, Teens and Adults!  The festivities start at 9am!  Join us in the Cohen Lobby on the main floor for birthday cake and music by Marc Weissman.  

We will have Rachel, The Replanted Witch, at Derby Public Library at 11am for a Midsummer Magic Program and Craft in the community space on the upper level.  A little biography on Rachel, The Replanted Witch:
"She has been fascinated with witchcraft, history, cooking and magic from an early age. She attended cooking school in New York City at the Natural Gourmet and is a certified vegan chef, studied herbalism under Rosemary Gladstar, founder of Traditional Medicinal Teas, and is a certified yoga teacher. In her free time, you can find her foraging, researching plants and remedies, visiting historic sites, whipping up kitchen magic and practicing her needlework.
