Derby Public Library welcomes back baker Isabelle Laufer on Wednesday, December 10, at 6 pm.  Join avid baker Isabell Laufer for this new program: Holly and Hearth: Warming Spices and Worldly Bakes.

This workshop with focus less on a plain loaf, but on holiday loaves, but also challah breads, brownies, cookies, and cakes. Isabelle will also explore traditional "warming" spices from around the world that help baked goods have that holiday taste.  Included will be spices to smell and how to use them in holiday bakes. 

 Additionally, a discussion on how to properly package for gifting or shipping for people to share with their loved ones!
